Riga Church of Christ (RKD, Rīgas Kristus Draudze) was founded in Riga in 1995 and is part of the International Churches of Christ movement (ICOC). Our mission is to live by and pass on the Christianity described in the New Testament. It is a living, practical faith that transforms people, families, and society.
We are a Christian, Bible-based community where people of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds gather to glorify God and practise His Word. Our desire is to help everyone know, trust, and follow Jesus in their daily lives.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who showed the world the true way of life, bore the sins of all on the cross, and rose again to be Lord over all creation. The church He builds is a family of people saved by grace. And we, as His church, strive to bring light and transformation to this world.
We love God, and we love people. There is a place for everyone in God's family, whether young or old, speaking Latvian, Russian, Ukrainian, or English — we are all united in His kingdom. We want to be a church where everyone feels accepted, encouraged, and strengthened.
